Credit Card Printer
A credit card printer is needed
so records of transactions can be provided to the
customers. Some card reader printer already have built-in
printers but still others prefer having a separate
machine for the card reader and printer so if one breaks

brands and models available in the market today. One such
credit card printer is the VeriFone Printer 250.
Manufactured by VeriFone, which belongs to the top names
in the credit card equipment industry, the VeriFone
Printer 250 is made to be compatible with many credit
card terminals and was built to utilize the standard 3
inches, two-ply paper rolls available. It incorporates a
7-pin dot matrix printer which is able to produce sharp,
very legible receipts at a rate of 2.1 lines per second.
The device measures 4.1 inches (105 mm) x 6.1 inches (155
mm) x 8.9 inches (225 mm) and weighs around 7 lbs (3.2
kg).
The Hypercom P8 is another good
credit card printer device from another big name in the
industry: Hypercom Corp. The P8 features a bi-directional
printing system which improves print speed quite a bit, 4
lines per second to be exact. It is known for having a
quiet operation. The credit card printer uses wide 3 inch
paper roll and offers easy to load pre-printed or plain
roll paper models. It has indicator lights which tell if
the machine already needs a fresh roll of paper. The
terminal provides power so there is no longer a need for
a separate power supply and outlet. The credit card
printer machine measures 4.25 inches x 5.5 inches x 9.0
inches and weighs about 2.25 lbs.
Already making its name in the
credit card printer industry is the DataCard Silent
Partner Printer. This credit card printer is known to be
a fast machine despite its size. It is quiet, economical
and reliable. It has been recommended for use in
businesses that require a quiet environment. It has
plug-and-play compatibility with most transaction
terminals. The DataCard printer uses larger paper rolls
that provide 50% more paper than other thermal credit
card printers. Moreover, it features a self-feeding paper

credit card printer is the eN-Scribe 612 from Ingenico a

is a fast thermal credit card printer. At 12 lines per
second, the printer is at par with quite a number of
credit card printer in the market today. With full
compatibility with industry standard units, the printer
has made its way as a very good machine for checkout
counters. It also incorporates a “plug ‘n play”
functionality for the convenience of the user.
Lastly, there’s the Nurit 504
printer which boasts of being a flexible credit card
printer from manufacturer Nurit. The selling points of
the Nurit 504 are the user-friendly features and
multi-language capabilities. Among its multi-lingual
character sets is English, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian,
Latvian, Hungarian, Chinese, Thai and Hebrew. It also
uses an automatic paper loading system for convenience.
It uses a touch-pad interface which makes it easier to
operate and not to mention maintain. It can also be wall
mounted. Printing speed has been measured at 24 columns 1
line/sec. Its dimensions are 3.4 inches (90 mm) x 6.8
inches (130 mm) x 5.1 inches (173 mm) and weighs around
425g or 0.94lb (without paper roll).
